Olaf Heine is best-known for his detailed, carefully staged photographic portraits of musicians, actors, authors and athletes, such as Sting, Nick Cave, Don Cheadle, The Killers, Bret Easton-Ellis or Iggy Pop.
As a photographer, Olaf has published two books ‚Leaving the Comfort Zone’ and ‚I love you but I’ve chosen rock’ (Hatje Cantz Publishing) and had numerous solo shows, including exhibits at the PPS Gallery in Hamburg, the Verve Gallery in Los Angeles and the European Photo Centre in Mannheim.
His images appeared on countless album covers and on large editorial spreads in premier publications. He has photographed for international advertising campaigns and shot dozens of music videos.
